Cyber safety, without
the scare tactics.
NextCyberHQ started as an internal how-to doc for a security team's non-technical relatives. It became a publication because "explain it like I'm not a security engineer" turned out to be exactly what most people wanted.
Practical over panicked.
Most cyber safety content either buries you in jargon or scares you into inaction. We aim for a third option: clear, specific, doable guidance — the actual five-minute fix, not just "be careful online."
We test the tools and settings we recommend ourselves before publishing, and we update guides when a recommendation changes — security advice has a shelf life, and we take that seriously.

How We Work
Plain language, always
If a guide needs a glossary to understand, we haven't finished writing it yet.
Tested, not theorized
We set up the tools and settings ourselves before recommending them to you.
Updated as things change
Security guidance ages fast. We revisit and update guides instead of letting them go stale.
